The Butterfly Release event is a beautiful and symbolic way to commemorate the lives of our loved ones who have passed away. The emergence of the butterfly signifies the renewal of life, while its flight represents freedom and happiness. Participants are invited to reserve a butterfly in honor of their cherished family members and friends. During the ceremony, attendees will have the chance to hear the names of those being remembered, accompanied by soothing music, inspiring readings, and the release of these stunning creatures. Witnessing the delicate butterflies prepare to take flight into the sky is an awe-inspiring sight. Guests of all ages will marvel as the butterflies gracefully land on arms and shoulders, flutter around heads, or rest gently on the grass before soaring towards the heavens.
The Butterfly Release events will take place on two different dates and locations to accommodate a wider audience. The first event will be held at Remich Park in Littleton on Saturday, September 9, 2023, starting at 1:00 pm. The second event will take place at Unity Park in Berlin on Saturday, September 16, 2023, beginning at 11:00 am. These events will proceed regardless of weather conditions, as the spirit of unity and remembrance remains constant. Light refreshments will be provided to all attendees, fostering an atmosphere of warmth and support.
